Climate Fresk is a fun, participatory and creative workshop that aims at raising awareness and understanding among people on climate change.

Resilient Planet is officially the Climate Fresk ambassador in Greece! The launch of this climate literacy tool on climate change took place in October 2020 at the beautiful premises of the Impact Hub Athens co-working space.

A Climate Fresk event consists of a workshop based on 42 cards resulting from the reports of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

UNDERSTANDING AN ISSUE LEADS TO ACTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF CHANGE

The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness of what climate change is in a playful and collaborative way by applying the principles of collective intelligence. Faced with the climate emergency, everyone shall be trained in the scientific basis of climate and its disruption in order to understand the situation, disseminate the information, form an opinion, act quickly, and collectively accept the changes to be made.

The Climate Fresk has reached 1,500,000 people around the globe. Over the past two years, this event has grown exponentially worldwide, educating businesses, schools and civil society in 157 countries. And it’s just the beginning!
