Joining forces with the Cyclades Preservation Fund for plastic-free Greek islands

We love promoting positive-impact projects!

Women associations in the Cycladic islands are the change that they want to see in the world. That’s why they want to eliminate disposable plastic from their events and replace them with reusable materials whilst learning how to reduce, reuse, and recycle waste and compost better.

We partnered with the Cyclades Preservation Fund to support the the Federation of Women's Associations "Oi Kores" in their mission to cultivate a new plastic-free culture in Cyclades islands of Greece.

For this beautiful cause, change is triggered by a bottom-up approach, the local embassadors of 13 Cycladic islands: in this case, 16 women associations. We produced audiovisual material to promote the fundraising bazaar that aimed to raise money for the purchase of reusable utensils (plates, glasses, cutlery) that will replace thousands of disposable plastics commonly used at local celebrations and gatherings annually.

This partnership was such an enriching experience for us. We always enjoy collaborating with the team of Cyclades Preservation Fund. We also learned so much about the challenges of the Federation of Women's Associations "Oi Kores" and their grassroots action for the Cycladic islands of Greece.
